Meet Anastasia
Anastasia Gatgounis Churdar, a first-time author and watercolor artist,
has a deep love for children and Mother Nature, which inspires her
enchanting children’s books. Her career as a lifelong teacher has
greatly influenced her work. Anastasia lives in Charleston, SC, with her
two children, Ellie and Johnny, and her adorable dog, Jax. When she’s
not creating beautiful stories or paintings, she can be found in her
natural habitat of Folly Beach. Her debut book, Lullaby to the Daytime
Sky, reflects the beauty that surrounds her home of the Carolina Coast
and her gratitude for it.
